Musicians Kate has shared the stage with:

Gary Moon - A Lake George, NY, based folkie who sounds uncannily like James Taylor. Gary sings harmony on Kate's CD (and vice-versa) and co-wrote the song "In the Spring"....

Phil Henry - Phil tackles everything from folk to funk, dazzling audiences from Solarfest in VT to the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Phil, Gary Moon and Kate have a trio CD....

Joe Jencks -  An Illinois-based powerhouse of sound, Joe asked Kate to sing harmony on a tune during his first-ever appearance at the Old Songs Festival in Altamont. His beautiful lyrics are not to be missed....

Maurizio -  Maurizio's energy onstage is only outdone by his laid-back friendliness in real life. Hit a show as a fan and leave as a friend....

Will Foley -  Will's been a steady force on the Albany, NY, rock scene for years. He and Kate have shared the stage many times. Sadly, he's taken his site down as he pursues other adventures....

Meg Hutchinson -  Meg is a stunningly-talented young folkie, one of the brightest stars on the folk scene. Kate was lucky enough to open for her at Caffe Lena....

The Wood's Tea Co. - Four funny guys playing fantastic folk for fanatic fans! Kate opened for them at the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts in 2005....

Terry Farmer - A smooth-singing folkie based in Michigan, Terry's one of the first musicians Kate ever shared the stage with - back in early 2001 at Mother Earth's Cafe in Albany, which has sadly closed since then - as has Terry's website! But check him out on CD Baby....

Greg Greenway - Greg's songs about civil rights and human dignity will make you weep. Kate opened for him at Gates Hill Church in summer 2002....

Tim Harrison - A renowned Canadian folk musician. Tim and Kate split a gig at Caffe Lena a while back....

Susan Trump - Adept at several instruments, Susan is renowned for her traditional Adirondack folk music. Kate happily opened for her at Caffe Lena in Jan. 2003....

Other recommended musicians:

Michael Jerling - Michael has been a mainstay on the national folk scene for decades. His songwriting is amazing - and Kate was lucky enough to have him engineer and play on her CD....

Bob Warren - Bob is not only a wonderful and well-known singer-songwriter (who released another CD in 2003 himself), he's also been Kate's guitar teacher....

Adirondack Music - This site for musicians contains links to Dennis Monahan's "baby-boomer rock" band, "The Leftovers," as well as his wonderful music store, Adirondack Guitar.

Dana Monteith - Dana is an alumnus of the Capital District band The Ominous Seapods, now venturing out on his own with a solo CD of "truck stop love ballads." Gotta' love that....

Mark Tolstrup - "Roots blues," rave reviews. 'Nuff said!...

Ray Pashoukos - A fellow open mic host at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, Ray "Rainman" Pashoukos is a crowd-pleaser, always enjoying his time onstage....

Jeffrey T.- Jeffrey's a mainstay at the Caffe Lena open mic, with hilarious songs about pretty girls and neutered dogs (don't ask!)....

Venues and More:

Caffe Lena - Located in Saratoga Springs, NY, Lena's is the oldest continuously-operating coffeehouse in the U.S. and the place where Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie got their starts. Don McLean first played "American Pie" on this stage. It's a home-away-from-home for many folkies - including Kate, who's a host of the open mic!

Old Songs - The wonderful, annual Old Songs Festival in Altamont brings together traditional folk musicians from all over the world - and the Old Songs Arts Center in Voorheesville does the same year-'round! Kate hosts the Old Songs open mic and is listed in their resource directory of performers available for hire.

Fool's Hill Music - Fool's Hill Music is folk musician Michael Jerling's recording venture; the website recently started selling Kate's CD online, along with many others by musicians who've recorded in Michael's studio!
